Quit meat · Go vegan · Keep count
Every craving you beat is an animal spared.
Spared is for people who want to stop eating meat — or already have, and want it to stick. It isn't a meal planner. It's built for the hard part: the ten minutes when the craving hits and the old habit is right there.

What it's for
Three jobs, in order of how much they matter
Most people who go back to meat don't decide to. They get caught in a moment with no plan for it. Spared is being built around that moment first, and everything else second.
-
01 / THE CRAVING
Get through the next ten minutes
When it hits, open the app instead of the fridge. Something to do with your hands and your head until the wave passes — because it does pass, and the whole game is being on the other side of it.
-
02 / THE TALLY
Count what it added up to
Days without meat, cravings you rode out, and the animals that spared. A tally you can look at when the reason feels far away — which is exactly when it's needed.
-
03 / THE CHANGE
Make it stick, at your pace
Cutting down, going vegetarian, going fully vegan — all count. Spared meets you where you are and helps you go further when you're ready, not when a plan says so.
When it hits
Cravings are predictable. That's the good news.
They show up at the same times, in the same places, around the same people. Which means you can be ready for them.
The supermarket, after work
Tired, hungry, and the meat aisle is between you and the exit. The oldest trap there is, and the easiest to plan for.
Out with friends
Everyone's ordering, nobody's thinking about it, and "just this once" sounds completely reasonable. It's the social pull, not hunger.
The family table
Someone cooked, someone's watching, and saying no feels like a statement. This one is about having an answer ready, not about the food.
The smell from a kitchen
You weren't even hungry. Then you walked past it. This is the craving that feels like it came from nowhere, and it's the one that fades fastest if you let it.
Not a guilt app
Slipping isn't failing, and Spared won't treat it that way. The tally doesn't reset to zero because of one dinner. What matters is the direction over months, and the count is there to show you that direction when a bad day makes it hard to see.
It's also not a diet app. No calories, no macros, no grading your plate. One question: did you get through the moment? Then a number that shows what that was worth.
Questions
Frequently asked
Because cravings are mostly habit and context, not nutrition. They show up at the same times, in the same places and around the same people they always did — the end of a long day, a barbecue, the smell from a kitchen you walk past. That is why willpower alone tends to fail and why Spared is built around those specific moments rather than around meal plans.
No. Spared is for anyone trying to eat less meat, whether the destination is vegetarian, vegan or simply fewer animals than last month. Every craving you get through counts the same.
No. It does not count calories, weigh food or grade your plate. It cares about one thing: whether you got through the moment you wanted meat, and what that added up to.
It is in development and there is no date yet. There is no waitlist either — this page will change the day it is on the App Store, and the launch will be posted on X at @devdchaudhary.
Pricing has not been decided. Whatever it is, it will be shown in full inside the app before you commit to anything, the same as the studio's other apps.
iOS first. Android is not planned until there is real demand for it.
Start the count
Coming to iOS. Leave your email and you'll hear the day it's out. Until then, the next craving still counts.
